 I Create colourful contemporary Mixed-media collages on canvas.

Abstraction is my natural art style.

​

 I am inspired by colours, textures and surfaces in natural and man-made environments, I also have a keen interest in Interiors, Materials, Design and Architecture. I really wanted to complete a Fine Art degree back in the day, but could not find a part time course that would allow me to juggle family life and studying. The best option available for me at the time was a Surface Design and Printed Textile degree course that allowed me the flexibility I needed. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I gained practical artistic and textile skills on the course.

Surface Patterns

My love and appreciation of art and surfaces, lead me to complete a Surface Design and Printed Textiles degree. I used  a combination of Hand and Digital techniques - such as drawing, painting, hand-screen printing and digital printing -  to create motifs, surface patterns and repeat patterns for all types of interior and fashion products. I currently create digital surface patterns inspired by colours, abstraction and the environment.

Art

I am intrigued by the processes involved in creating Abstract Art and have combined techniques and processes by using paper and acrylic paint mediums to create unique  Mixed -Media Abstract Artworks that are vibrant, colourful and textured. I enjoy creating abstract work with the emphasis on colour and shapes hence my current art theme is Colour and Movement or ....
